We entered into the roaring twenties of the new millennium with big hopes and dreams. Being a prohibition era party, we had to check our drinks at a vintage home and then hop in the “taxi” to a speakeasy. We had clues/passwords that lead us to the green light like Gatsby. Walking into the event was entrancing. Aerial dancers moving to the music as card dealers worked the poker tables. Flapper inspired outfits laced with gems and pearls were donned all over the place. Champagne towers flowed and attendees posed by the larger than life glistening moon. We danced and sang until the wee hours of the morning. Nothing will ever beat that kind of magic.
