FRIENDS Christmas Party

This year is the 25th anniversary of F•R•I•E•N•D•S so we decided that the proper way to kick off the Christmas Season was to throw a F•R•I•E•N•D•S themed Christmas party! We had coffee and muffins just like Central Perk as well has Pheobe’s Grandmother’s cookie recipe (Nestle Tollhouse.) All the guests dressed as their favorite friends scene or in a classic 90’s outfit just as the cast would have worn on screen. I put up photos of the gang around the house to make it feel like Monica’s apartment, and of course had the yellow frame around the peephole on the door. Campesino Jungle Disco

The DefinitelyKenslie X Campesino JUNGLE DISCO came together only as expected. Campesino Rum is heavily inspired by Panamanian jungle culture with its whole brand revolving around its iconic animal mascots’ (snake and jaguar) spiritual personalities. (You can even take the quiz on their site to find out which one you are!) I live for anything out the 1970’s and always begin party planning by flipping through some old photos of nightlife back in the day. This particular image I stumbled upon set the stage for the whole party.

From there, I chose decorate with tons of plants and other tropical elements. As for the guests, I requested they adorn themselves in animal print seeing as we were all to be animals in the jungle, and add in a little disco if they saw fit. The guests truly outdid themselves with their outfits as you’ll see, and Alex Lazzari mixed up some mighty fine Jungle Juice with the Campesino Rum.
